28th Cowntown Clean Up Seeks Volunteers

The Cowtown Great American Clean Up, hosted by Keep Fort Worth Beautiful, is looking for several thousand volunteers! It sounds like a huge number, and it is, but for the past few years more than 4,000 people volunteered for the annual cleanup event. The 28th annual citywide litter cleanup runs from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, April 6. Clubs, civic or church groups, scout troops, schools, neighborhood associations, businesses and individuals can join the cleanup to help keep Fort Worth beautiful.

Time: 8 - 11 a.m.
Location: Choose your own location or participate in one of the 12 city-sponsored sites
Goodies: Cleanup supplies are available to all organizations on a first-come, first-serve basis.

And when the cleaning is over, join the fun!
The Earth Party runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sundance Square's Gateway Lot-located on Fifth Street between Throckmorton and Houston streets. The event includes family fun, educational booths and activities, prizes, live entertainment from Vocal Trash and YOUR DJ and food for cleanup volunteers.
