28th Annual Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival
January 17,2013
Art. Cuisine. Music. Entertainment. Family. Fun. They all come together at downtown Fort Worth's largest and most popular annual event – MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival. Celebrating its 28th year on April 18-21, 2013, the festival is one of the finest ways to show off our city to locals and visitors alike, with artists' booths stretched a mile-long on the historic red bricks of Main Street, framed by the turn-of-the-century buildings and modern skyscrapers of downtown Fort Worth. Now the largest arts festival in Texas and the 3rd largest in the United States, the art fair is juried, and revelers can find everything from photographs taken around the world to cool kinetic sculptures to delicate jewelry.
Hundreds of entertainment acts on three stages will also be rockin' and rollin' throughout the festival's four days, with 2013 headliners including popular country band Little Texas (Thursday, 4/18 at 8:30 p.m.), chart-topping alternative rock band Sister Hazel (Saturday, 4/20 at 9 p.m.), and one of Rolling Stone magazine's "Greatest Guitarists of All Time," Robert Randolph and the Family Band (Saturday, 4/20 at 9 p.m.). An area for family-friendly arts-and-crafts activities, a wine pavilion sponsored by Times Ten Cellars, and booths featuring Fort Worth's favorite restaurants and chefs round out the lineup.
