MAIN ST. FORT WORTH ARTS FESTIVAL
APRIL 20- 23
Every spring, Main Street is transformed into a world class arts festival that is not be missed. Tents filled with incredible work from over 200 of the best artists across the country line the street, coupled with four stages featuring live music and performing arts. You don't have to be an art connoisseur to enjoy this festival. In fact, the food, drinks, and atmosphere is enough to keep you entertained for hours. The event is free and open to the public, and is definitely a must for anyone wanting to experience the cultural side of Fort Worth. Learn more about MAIN ST. here.
BANDS ON THE BRICKS
THURSDAYS, BEGINNING MAY 4
We love Sundance Square Plaza, and love spending spring nights lounging around and listening to some of the best live music in town. Bands on the Bricks, a free concert series on Thursday nights, begins May 4th. This year's lineup includes Northern National, Live 80 and more. Feel free to bring your own blanket and chairs, and don't forget: drinks will be on sale in the plaza! Learn more here.
TOP GOLF
OPENS MAY 5
In case you haven't noticed the gigantic structure being built on the east side of Downtown, we're here to inform you that there's a brand new Top Golf coming soon! And by soon, we mean May 5th. The entertainment/ sports venue is expected to open and will feature a state of the art driving range, bar, and all around good time for anyone who gives it a "swing". Learn more here.
YOGA/ ZUMBA IN SUNDANCE SQUARE PLAZA
SATURDAYS, BEGINNING MAY 13
Wake up in style on Saturday mornings in Sundance Square Plaza. These alternating Yoga/ Zumba classes are free and open to the public, and are the perfect way to beat the heat while still experiencing a little fresh air. It's BYOM (bring your own mat!). Learn more here.
VAN CLIBURN INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION
BEGINS MAY 25
Every four years, The Cliburn brings renowned pianists from across the globe to Fort Worth to compete in their international piano competition. This incredible event is not to be missed. Performances and competitions begin May 25th and run through June. Van Cliburn Recital Hall will be open during all competition performances and will feature a large screen for free viewing.
