Plaza Palooza

Sundance Square Plaza

This free, two-day festival is returning to Sundance Square Plaza! Come out and enjoy 3-D street painting, live music, and craft beers for purchase in the pavilion. It’s that time of year again! Movie Nights in Sundance Square Plaza return on June 7, playing movies every Thursday night at 7:30pm through July 14. This year’s line-up celebrates the anniversaries of movies such as American Graffiti, You’ve Got Mail, Peter Rabbit, and more. Learn more here.

 

Every Brilliant Thing

This theatrical experience looks to make sense of our complicated world by making a list of Every Brilliant Thing in our lives. You’re sure to get a kick out of the list as it grows longer and longer from “ice cream” to “laughing so hard you shoot milk out of your nose”. WAITRESS

Bass Performance Hall

June 19 - 24

Order’s up at Bass Performance Hall! WAITRESS tells the story of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie maker who dreams of a way out of her small town. This new Broadway show features original music and lyrics by six-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles. Learn more here.

 

Third Thursday Jazz

June 21

Take a musical journey from the early 20th-century roots of jazz to the diverse sounds of today at the Fort Worth Library’s Third Thursday Jazz Series. Every third Thursday through September, the Central Library transforms into a jazz club featuring a dynamic line-up of local and internationally touring artists. Learn more here.

 

Harry Potter Trivia Night

June 26

Think you know a bit about the world of wizardry? Start re-reading the books and re-watching the movies, because Flying Saucer is holding a Harry Potter Trivia Night! Hogwarts uniforms and wands are not required, but totally encouraged. The fun begins at 8pm! Learn more here.
