Thoughts of a Colored Man explores the lives, pressures, and passions of seven contemporary Black men who live in one Brooklyn neighborhood. The characters — never given names — are identified by traits they embody: Lust, Love, Anger, Passion, Wisdom, Depression, and Happiness.
