Gene Fowler and William Williams explore the contributions of musicians in these genres and more in their story of music in Fort Worth and Dallas from the 19th century to the 1960s. This program, drawn from their book, Metro Music, will take you back to the groovy sounds and the legendary venues including the Crystal Springs Dance Pavilion, the Longhorn Ballroom, the Blue Bird, and so many more.
