John Williams may have done more to keep orchestras in the public consciousness than any composer alive. To watch Star Wars is to thrill to that opening trumpet blast. He captured the mystery of the Harry Potter films with a celeste and whispering strings. Fluttering winds launch a magical flight to Peter Pan’s Neverland. The list goes on.

Join GRAMMY Award-winner, Maestro Richard Kaufman as he takes you on a guided tour of the the Music of John Williams and discusses his experience conducting and supervising music for film and television productions. Having worked alongside John Williams himself, we're sure this pre-concert talk will be quite an adventure!
