The Fort Worth Marathon is a non-profit organization. The Marathon is an annual running event that raises funds to fight childhood obesity in the Tarrant County area and in the school systems. The Fort Worth Marathon course is certified by the USA Track and Field Association and can be used to QUALIFY for the Boston Marathon, it is a flat out and back course along the Trinity River. There will be food trucks, FREE Martin House Brewing Company craft beer, race after party, MUSIC and a FREE MONEY give away!!!
The Full Marathon course is 2 laps beginning and ending at Panther Island Pavilion heading southwest along the Trinity Trails to Acme Brick. The 20-mile race has the same first loop and a shortened second loop with a turnaround at the Woodshed. The Half-Marathon is just the first lap of the Marathon course.
