Join us for a viewing of the first two of Krzysztof Kieślowski's monumental 1989 film series, Dekalog, or The Ten Commandments. Originally produced for Polish television, they are widely regarded as the finest cinema ever produced for the small screen, and were particularly admired by Stanley Kubrick, Roger Ebert, and others. Each 1-hour film centers on one of the ten commandments viewed in ordinary modern lives. Time will be given for discussion afterwards.
