In this class, you will learn everything you need to know to make your very own batch of sauerkraut. We will go over the ingredients/tools, calculate how much salt to use, talk about different add-ons like herbs, and spices, and how to properly pack and store sauerkraut. The health benefits of probiotics, and how to incorporate sauerkraut in recipes will be discussed. Each participant will leave with a batch of sauerkraut in a jar to take home. A grazing board will be available for snacking during the class.
