Details

Featured artist Inyang Essien is a Nigerian American lens-based creative from Dallas who uses photography, cultural textiles, video installations, and mixed media to explore identity through culture. Her work is currently also on view at the University of Toronto as part of a lightbox installation project, highlighting the botanical contributions of marginalized people hidden by European colonialism.
