Details
Though Frederic Remington and Charles Russell are known today as fine artists, both worked as illustrators throughout their careers. Our current exhibition, Remington and Russell in Black and White, features an array of both artists’ original greyscale works paired with their counterparts printed in magazines and books. In honor of FWADA’s Fall Gallery Night, the museum has invited local artist Jacob Lovett to paint in our galleries.
Visitors can stop by between 1:00pm – 3:00pm to see the artist in process as he paints a black & white contemporary western composition. Then explore the museum and enjoy the many black and white artworks by Remington and Russell on display in our current exhibition.
