Celebrate a new collection of artworks guest-curated by the Dallas Asian American Art Collective (DAAART) in honor of Asian & Pacific Islander American Heritage Month. The exhibition, titled “Ginger Roots: Fort Worth,” explores themes of shared commonalities within the Asian Texan diaspora as well as the historic contributions of AAPIs in Texas. Ginger is a bridge across cuisines across the Asian diaspora; it represents the multifaceted struggle of the Asian American experience. Roots boldly refers to Asians’ presence in Texas since the 1800s and their impact on Texas’ history. Curated by Christina Hahn, Leili Arai Tavallaei, and Adrianna Touch of the Dallas Asian American Art Collective.
